On October 8th, 2024, business and community leaders gathered at the Crowne Plaza in Fredericton for Inclusion NB’s annual luncheon. Every fall, we bring together inclusion champions to celebrate what we have accomplished as a community.

We also take the time to recognize our incredible partners who contribute to our mission. In 2024, we were thrilled to highlight the efforts of Value Village.

For over 25 years, Inclusion NB and Value Village have teamed up to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and their families across New Brunswick.

Value Village locations in Fredericton and Moncton accept generous donations from residents of household goods and clothing on our behalf, and then pay Inclusion NB for those items dropped off at the store. This is a vital source of funding for our nonprofit and helps support our programs and services – and, in turn, hundreds of New Brunswickers and their families.

During the luncheon we were joined by Jennifer Guimond and Dustin Stevens from Value Village (pictured here).

Dustin was also kind enough to help us out this past summer with this video: https://youtu.be/u3LOKijMoVM.

Inclusion NB was also delighted to share that Value Village is an inclusive employer committed to fostering diversity and providing equal opportunities for all. By embracing individuals of varying backgrounds and experiences, Value Village creates an inclusive workplace culture that mirrors what we see in our community.

A partnership of over 25 years is a substantial one. Our sincere thanks to the teams at Value Village Fredericton and Moncton for being Inclusion Champions!
